Our company Make a Difference is a registered Australian business and our mission is to source environmentally friendly products that make a difference and advance the circular economy.
A simple question led to the formation of our business. Our founder has been anactive sports participant, children’s sports coach and sideline parent for a number of years and would often see numerous water bottles left on the sides of sporting fields and in lost property areas. These bottles were all made from virgin raw materials and were disposed of in land fill if not promptly collected by their owners. The following question was posed and the research began: Where can I find a safe, strong, light, food grade, recycled water bottle for my children that can itself be recycled?
The answer was far more difficult that our founder had envisaged. Various calls to bottle manufacturers and recycling companies took place and it was established that no-one had seemingly yet been able to achieve manufacturing such a product that supported the circular economy.
After considerable research and conversations with experts about the complexity of manufacturing a safe, food-grade, light, strong, recycled and recyclable bottle we came across Buoy LLC and soon identified that what the team at Buoy LLC had achieved and developed was remarkable.
Buoy has developed the most sustainable bottle on the market and we are the sole authorised importer and distributor for the range of sustainable Buoy products in Australia.
